Moving forward during COVID-19

These unprecedented times have touched the lives of everyone, and our business is not immune. As a small team, we have been implementing measures to keep us safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, and continue to support our customers and suppliers.

Following advice from the UK Government, our manufacturing has ceased to protect staff. Many of our supplier partners, including truss manufacturers, scaffolders and plant hire, have done the same. While these decisions have been difficult to take, we all know that it is crucial in the effort to stem the spread of the virus and protect the wellbeing of staff and their families.

We also know that many people’s jobs and livelihoods have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and now may not be the time to think about making changes to their home or embarking on a self-build journey. But for others in more fortunate positions, this additional time at home may serve as a reminder of how important it is to love your house, and this unexpected time could be an opportunity to begin researching what options are available for building the home of your dreams.

We are continuing to take enquiries and our designers and engineers are carrying on in as normal a manner as is possible. We hope to continue producing drawings for approval, which can then move to manufacturing when life starts to return to normal.

Our partners at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre (NSBRC) are also adjusting to this ‘new normal’ by offering virtual enquiries. Customers can simply provide a few details, choose which companies they would like to hear from, and the NSBRC will pass the enquiry directly to their exhibiting partners.

We are all learning how best to carry on during this difficult time. If you have any questions at all about self build, please do get in touch with us for an initial chat. We would be happy to help you on the first step of your journey, regardless of when that second step might come.

We hope everyone stays safe and well.
